Jan. 2, 2004, I was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure. Oct. 18, 2004, a family meeting was ORDERED by my doctors. They said I only had a few months to live because the heart was only functioning at 8%. Nov. 14, 2004, received/implanted a Left Ventricular Assisting Device(L.V.A.D-heart pump). Was told this device was only guaranteed for 13-18 months.
June 10, 2006, L.V.A.D stops working properly. My mind and heart is TERRIFIED, but my SOUL is CALM and PEACEFUL(GOD is by my side). I'm in the hospital all this time(2 months). Aug. 13, 2006(morning), one of my doctors come into the room and says, " I THINK WE'VE FOUND THE PERFECT ONE". Now my mind and heart has gone from TERRIFIED to OVERWHELMING and NERVOUS, but the SOUL is still at ease...
I called EVERYONE I knew to rejoice in this BLESSING... 10:00pm it's prep time...
Aug. 16, 2006, I AWOKE TO A BEATING HEART THAT SOUNDED LIKE AN ENCHANTING SONGBIRD. Aug. 26, 2006, arrived home to be with FAMILY and FRIENDS. Present Time: EMBRACING the JOYS of LIFE. THANKING THE DONOR FAMILY FOR THIS PRECIOUS AND UNSELFISH GIFT they provided me and my family. MUCH LOVE to YOU and EVERYONE that went through this STRUGGLE with me. THANK YOU, GOD(that's why the SOUL NEVER became FEARFUL). PLEASE DONATE THE GIFT OF LIFE! and KEEP GOD FIRST!
